MECA-10 10-DAY POWER RESERVE
To display its exceptional power reserve in a unique and innovative way, Hublot developed a new watchmaking construction in which the traditional baseplate is replaced by long bridges fixed on both sides to a ring that serves as the foundation for the movement. This original approach, combined with the skeletonised components, gives the Manufacture calibre HUB1201 a three-dimensional effect and an impressive sense of depth – both from the case side and from below.
CERAMIC
For Hublot, materials are an integral part of watch design. They must complement the design, protect the movement and stand the test of time. The Manufacture has therefore chosen to use high-tech ceramic for certain bezels and cases; an extremely resistant and virtually scratch-proof material (with the exception of diamond) based on zirconium, sintered at very high temperatures.
